About Us & Our Home

Run by Steve and Kolu from their home in Clackamas. Between them, almost 40 years with greyhounds - the leaning, the roaching, the zoomies, the cold feet.

The house

  • Company 24/7: Never without both - at least one human and greyhound company. No kennels, no solo overnight.
  • Run of the house: Couches and chairs allowed, and expected.
  • Quarter-acre fenced yard: L-shaped, fully fenced, surrounded by laurels. On nice days the house stays open - wander in and out, keep the bunnies and squirrels honest.
  • Greyhounds only: No other breeds.

Ambassadors

Tilly and Willow came from Ireland: Tilly coursed, Willow raced on a track. They show guests the good couch spots.

Before them: Pepper (raced in Kansas), and before that Callie (raced in Arizona).

How a stay works

  1. Meet & greet - Meet Tilly and Willow, sniff the yard, share routine and meds.
  2. Drop-off - Food, martingale, leash, coat if cold, something that smells like home.
  3. Living with us - Their meal schedule, yard time, walks, couch naps with company.
  4. Pick-up - Rested, fed on schedule, ready for another nap.
